Badgr is a free, end-to-end platform for collecting, organizing, sharing and issuing Open Badges. Badgr can be used inside Canvas via LTI for automatic badge awards based on module-completion criteria. The Badgr app can also be used to recognize learning that takes place outside of Canvas by offering individual or bulk-badging capabilities. Testimonials

Richard Edwards, Ball State University

I think Badgr's a great tool. It has absolutely added an element of stickiness to our course. We're at 63% active engagement in week four of our MOOC, which is unheard of. Students take great pride in their badges. I constantly see badges shared to the course's Twitter hashtag (#Hitchcock50).

Kathryn Davis, Education Technology Administrator at Bauman College

An interesting benefit was seeing our learners share badges on social media, which in turn became a marketing asset not only for our school, but for our learners as they began developing their professional digital presence by communicating new skills and knowledge with their badges.
